I love to exchange information about our travels and visits with others and enjoy getting feedback from our guests and visitors. Please share your experiences of your visit to us (or our visit to you!) with postings to build our Memory Blog on My Multiply. Headed out for a week of pet sitting for Kitty who lives in CA. We enjoyed the pier at Long Beach, the lighthouse, Aquatic Aquarium, asian markets and cuisine, sewing and fabric shops and just the general sunshine. Then of course there was plenty of time to cater to StarFish, her adorable rag doll cat. Check out the photos in our album, isn't she a cutie!

I am catching up on entries after returning from a family wedding in OR. We had some great ATC hosting along the way. Stayed overnight with Karen and Ian in Portland and only wish we had more time with them. Enjoyed the river walk pathways and some Thai food as well as a Community Concert just a short stroll away. Loved, the steel cut oatmeal and all the trimmings- just like I make at home!
Next stop was at Dianne and Bill's in Eugene for 3 days while we attended family wedding events. So casual- loved the little market a block away with more items than our local health food store! And the Saturday Farmer's Market was a true feast on local organic and seafoods- made me want to mover there!
Returning home, we stayed over night with Lloyd ad Ellen in ID. She invited us to a lovely dinner with homemade blackberry ice cream and scones for breakfast! She thought of everything to make her guests feel like they were staying in a guest house B&B. We are already dreaming of our next ATC getaway...

Peter, from FL, visited us overnight as he was traveling coast-to-coast to say hello to family members. He arrived a bit early and did not mind sharing the bathroom with our 8 year old grandson, as well as a meal of leftovers.

Marie and Theresa visited us for a few days in June. Marie was able to take in many of the local attractions while Theresa relaxed around our home and visited with me. It was so nice to exchange stories with them.

Have had a quiet year for ATC requests again and woefully, 5 of them were for same date that we had had our grandson visiting in late June/early July or for late July/early Aug when we have our nephew's wedding in OR.
